Not cleansing? Here’s the consequence

Not cleansing? Here’s the consequence.

Has your artist discussed the proper aftercare procedure to maintain a set of healthy, long-lasting lashes? Cleaning your lashes after a day’s exposure to makeup, dirt, and other bacteria is what makes this step so crucial. Although we may not notice from a distance, when closing up eye dirt is very noticeable.

Take a look.. Ew right? Although her identity shall remain hidden, this is a close up picture I took of a client who didn’t clean her lashes regularly.

Cleanser

This is the product used and recommended to clients for cleaning lash extensions. When used correctly this product will safely remove any dirt or makeup surrounding the eye area.

Benefits of Cleanser

Prevents eye infections

Removes natural body oil, dirt buildup and makeup

Increases retention (LASHES WILL LAST LONGER)

Oil X Adhesive

A collaboration between oil and adhesive is a true setup for disaster! Most adhesives are NOT oil proof. When oil is exposed to adhesive the bonds in the adhesive weaken, therefore resulting in bad retention.

How to use the Lashleys.Co Foaming Cleanser

The steps are simple!

Get your cleanser! (Provided with any full set appointment from Lashleys.Co. or can be purchased from our shop!)

Shake your bottle!

Apply 1 pump of the lash cleanser to your cleansing brush and apply directly onto the closed eyelid.

Using a circular motion, gently brush above and below the lash line.

Rinse thoroughly with water and gently pat dry around the eye area, letting the lashes air dry.

Use twice a day!

So clients, let’s clean our extensions! This will save yourself money and from potential infections and not give our artists the hassle of dealing with dirty lashes!

Xoxo,
