Lashes have layers?

Eyelashes are tiny hairs on the edge of the eyelid. One of the biggest misconceptions about eyelashes is that many people think they are all aligned next to one another. However, when you take a view close up you will notice the full set of natural lashes contain layers! The amount of natural lashes an individual has varies per person, along with the growth pattern.

Taking a look at the image and you will notice the layers formed through this client’s natural lash growth!

Lash Layers X Colored Lashes

Personally, I love working with colored lashes! Using colored lashes allows the artist to add a little more of a wow factor to their client’s lash set! Many artists like to use colored lashes as more of an accent to their lash set (ie. using colored lashes on the ends of the lash set). Although I have customized lash sets with colored lash accents, I have also created several colored lash sets that contained color all around and mainly focused on the client’s natural lash layering.

Each individual has their own unique set of natural eyelashes. Whether you are an artist working with colored lashes, wispies, or even just creating a regular lash set, we all have worked with lash layers and with every client we are given the opportunity to work with a new set of layers!
