FREE Lash Baths
Your average lash technician social media business page consists of the following; pictures of the artist’s work, offered services, service prices, location of the service, policies, accepted forms of payment, etc. I created my instagram business page about 3.5 years ago. As you’d imagine over those 3.5 years I have seen other artist’s business pages.
One thing that is so great about being a lash artist is that we have the ability to customize many things to our liking. For example, we customize our policies, prices, services and the style/technique used in our lash sets! Your average lash service total charged from a home-based artist working in the Bay Area is about $60-$140 for a full set. Compare this to an established storefront lash business which can charge upwards of $400 for a full set. With prices as high as this you’d probably expect a true luxury service.
Here is what is included in my lash services:
- Lash Bath
- Primer
- Lash Extension Application
- Sealant
- Review and Alter if needed
Please Take note:
For eyelash extensions to strongfully bond and maintain retention to the natural eyelash it is crucial that the natural eyelash is in a clean state before application. To simplify, oil is not compatible with eyelash extension adhesive. Dirty eyelashes can be formed from, but are not limited to the following; the collection of natural body oils, makeup, dirt getting trapped in the lashes from other natural sources.
As I have noticed some artists created an “add-on” option for a Lash Bath. This means the Lash Bath is not already included in the lash service. As stated above, Lash Baths play a very important role for having strong lashes and happy clients! My company strives to deliver quality services at an affordable price. This may just be our motto, however we truly mean it!
If you are receiving complaints about your work’s retention try adding a complimentary lash bath to your service if you are not already. Whether you charge on the cheaper or pricier side, cleanser is a business expense any lash artist can afford! Not only will you see a difference in your hard work, but your clients will notice it as well and will come back happier than ever!
P.S. This post is a delivery of my opinion and suggestion to those who are charging Lash Baths as an add-on to their eyelash extension services. All lash artists have the freedom to choose what they want to offer in their services.
